Today, my solo cup is filled with making adjustments.
Returning from vacation can be a drag. Although it’s nice to be home and back into a ‘normal’ routine, the end to a relaxing vacation is hard to recover from. We make adjustments both ways and this side is much more exhausting. In reality, it usually takes me a couple of days to feel completely restored in my everyday life. Today
being Day One - Post Vacation and operating at about 50%*, I used the limited mental capacity to fill up my calendar with appointments and tasks; all of which are scheduled for
later in the week. I am very grateful for the increased flexibility I have with my work
schedule as a solopreneur.
Aside from feeling a bit out of sorts, our vacation experience was fantastic and I am rejuvenated and ready for more – work.
