Today, my solo cup is filled with Inspiration.
I bought myself a coffee mug yesterday, but not just any coffee mug. It is by far the biggest mug I've ever owned, or seen for that matter. In fact, I know I am burning extra calories just lifting to sip. I didn't buy it for the size however, as I keep myself limited to one 'cup of Joe' a day. I bought it because of the message that spoke directly to my ego in need of a stroke.
"You are Amazing - Remember That."
As a solopreneur, it is few and far between that I get a pat on the back, or a kind gesture or word from a fellow co-worker or boss, that in the past would keep me appreciating the small things that made a difference in working for someone else. Working alone isn't easy but I've discovered after almost two years that I don't need to rely on others to give me praise, I can give it to myself. This mug, which cost me a mere $3.99, was my first purchase of 'a small thing that made a difference' in my job.
So, with that, I raise my mug to all the solopreneurs out there and say to you, "You are Amazing - Remember That!"
Follow my blog as I will be contributing to my newly created series - Making Sense (Cents) of Solopreneurship daily (Monday-Friday). Find out what 'my solo cup is filled with' each day.
