Today, my solo cup is filled with Low Energy.
You know what kind of day I'm having without my writing another word, don't you? Low energy days (a.k.a. ramifications of holiday weekend over-indulgence) are challenging. We've all had them and I am still on a mission to figure out the best remedy to overcome them in the least amount of time. I've tried exercising first thing in the morning, eating a high protein breakfast, sleeping a bit longer and sitting outside with a cup of strong coffee, and have yet to find a surefire solution. While reflecting on this quest, it struck me that maybe there isn't one way to replenish and that sometimes these days are just necessary and part of the process. If you don't have the so-so days, you won't know the difference between a day that is off the charts productive, right? Ok, I may be reaching here a bit but I have decided to find peace in my few days a year that aren't as productive or executed with focus and clarity. Tomorrow is a new day!
