Today, my solo cup is filled with Crimson Tide Pride.
In light of my being in the deep woods of central Alabama, I would like to duly note that my post is not late but rather slow to show. Day 3 and it feels like I've been here forever (in a good way). The days really do move slower down here. The pace of living is much more relaxed and a trip to Wal-Mart is a real treat.
Regardless of my being on a ranch in the woods, I still have Wi-Fi capabilities. It may be a bit slow (without a doubt) but it's here. I battled with the purpose of this post in relation to my position as a solopreneur and digital marketer and summoned that it's about remembering where I came from. This is where I grew up and in large part who I am. From the hospitality to the appreciation of the simple things in life, the foundation of my character.
And here, I sit still with some classic country music playing in the background and a glass of sweet tea sweating on the window sill.
....and a burning desire, from the deepest part of my gut, to yell as loud as I can - YEE HAW!
Ya'll come back now, ya hear.
