Today, my solo cup is filled with The Pomodoro Technique.
Have you heard of the Pomodoro method? Working in 25 minute blocks with a 5 minute break in between - actually very productive. I am giving it a go and have discovered on my first day that walking away for 5 minutes, after a timed 25 minute work session, helps refresh my train of thought and fuels positive change in my level of energy and focus. According to Francesco Ciril, the idea behind this technique is to increase productivity. You improve mental stamina by focusing on a task for a short period of time. Giving yourself a break to recharge and push harder. It's like interval training at the gym. I'm going to try it out for 7 days to measure the difference in my productivity.
