Today, my solo cup is filled with T E A M.
There's no "I" in team! As a solopreneur, who handles it all, it's easy to get confused about this statement. Some days I feel as though I've proved it wrong due to the many hats I wear and roles I fulfill - often referring to myself in the third person (ok, not really). Consequently, I completely understand this is a momentary setback, letting the solitude get the best of me.
As a B2B partner, I am far from being without a team. In fact, I have to be a mighty team player that knows when to make adjustments, concede or take the lead, intuitively, and with much more grace than those that meet face-to-face. Since body language equates to roughly 55% of the communication process, and currently most of my business partnerships are with companies that are out of state, I have to rely on my delivery via telephone or email, diction and tone, to score; and stay in the game. My point here is not to toot my own horn (or Christina’s) but to recognize the wonderful people that have embraced our working arrangements and my part on the team.
Thank you Activate Learning, Ann Pelino Integrative Fitness, Logic, & OTree Photography and have a fabulous weekend!
Team plug: Go Valpo volleyball!!
Christina, our President & Director of Content, loves to write about anything. The only thing missing is the assignment. Just give her a topic and she's off - to stimulate her word generator and exercise her research skills to deliver content that is entertaining, relevant, and timely.
